Alan Stivell (been born on January 6th, 1944 to Riom) is an author-compositeur-interprète and a French and Breton musician of Celtic expression (Breton, Irish, Gaelic Scot, Welsh), to which are added French, English and other languages .

Singer, he is also a multi-instrumentalist: bombard, bagpipes braz, tin whistle and especially Celtic harp. He is on the base of the revival of this instrument and the modern Breton music. Her music is very opened on the world, on the Celtie and leans on original musical forms. His musical work is coupled with a fight for the gratitude of the Celtic culture and for the bigger brotherhood between the human beings.

His personality and her work played a major role in the popularization of the Celtic music in Brittany and in the world. He was at the origin of this movement. In the debuts, there are only traditional, amateur and known singers only locally, excepted Glenmor, who sings his own compositions. In contrario, Alan Stivell goes famous for his job on the traditional directory, even first if her work is extraordinarily numerous from the beginning in the original variety of its arrangements, and also its creations


In it was added a capacity to communicate its passion, thanks to which he aroused the vocation (directly or indirectly) of numerous current Breton artists.

His music became universal by its fame, but also by its modernity and its most eclectic influences.

Since the beginning, he has respite to occur on stage all around the world and to propose an original discography.

Denez Prigent, been born on February 17th, 1966 to Santec in Finistère, is a French author-compositeur-interprète of Breton songs.its kinds of preference are the caravanserai ha diskan song and counterpoint to be danced, and the gwerz, the dramatic song telling a story or a legend.
